Swimming in October

I don't know if any of you have noticed, but there seems to be an unusually large population of box elder bugs at our house, and you can ignore them for only so long. Well, I'm officially tired of seeing them lurk around, so I decided something must be done. I came up with a plan, something that would be fun for all of my icky little friends. They seem so bored, just hanging out on the windows, so I thought they might like to go to the pool. No, not North Shore, but one that I made just for them. I filled a cup full of water, not to hot, not to cold and proceeded to take them all over to the pool. They looked like they enjoyed it, because from the moment they got in the pool, they swam and swam, not even stopping to rest! It looked like so much fun that I rounded up as many as I could--you know how much fun it is to go swimming with all your friends. Well, they swam for hours and hours, and even seem to have mastered floating, since they've been doing that for quite some time now. Clever little things! Karlee saw them in action yesterday, and I know she was impressed. I really know how to throw a party!
